Students from the 3e optional course OEDHE ( Projet-phare UNESCO 2024-2025) have had the opportunity to learn more about the renowned photography exhibition The Family of Man in Clervaux, thanks to a visit by Paul Lesch, former History teacher and curator of the Edward Steichen collections. This visit was organised as part of the UNESCO associated schools network, and Mr. Lesch spoke passionately about how this iconic exhibition stands as a profound affirmation of the shared humanity that unites people across all cultures and nations. This ties in perfectly with the course's focus on intercultural understanding and global citizenship. Although the planned trip to Clervaux had to be cancelled due to time constraints, Mr Lesch strongly encouraged students to explore the exhibition on their own over the summer as it promises to be a truly eye-opening experience!
